SuperSync Email for Outlook Release Notes
Version 1.2.0
Release Date: June 9, 2020
Updates
Features
https://cloudcowboys.atlassian.net/browse/SSEMAIL-168 : This ticket update the headers displayed above logged emails and search results sections. Previously, logged emails displayed in the add-in beneath a header that stated “You have already logged this email to the below records:” and additional records matching the search criteria displayed beneath a header that stated “Log this email to other records:” We have updated these headers to display as “Log History” and “Search Results”, respectively, in order to streamline and simplify the UI.
https://cloudcowboys.atlassian.net/browse/SSEMAIL-146 : In anticipation of the New Record Creation feature, permissions for creating specific records has been added to the Profile custom record.
https://cloudcowboys.atlassian.net/browse/SSEMAIL-142 : In this ticket, the logic to automatically log additional messages on an email thread (if enabled via the Auto Log toggle) was completed.
: This ticket completed the toggle UI portion of the Auto Log feature.
: New Record Creation also requires a user flow for both successful and unsuccessful attempts. Each of those flows has been completed in this ticket.
: New Record Creation requires proper NetSuite-compatible field validation within the add-in. This ticket completed the first phase of NetSuite fields that are supported in the add-in.
: Once a record is saved in the add-in, we need to ensure the record is actually created within NetSuite. This ticket completed that integration.
Bugs
: When viewing an email that has been logged to NetSuite, there was an issue that resulted in the add-in not properly displaying the records the email had been logged to. That issue was resolved in this ticket.
: Bug discovered and resolved during other development activity.
Version 1.1.0
Release Date: May 26, 2020
Updates
Features
This ticket is a placeholder ticket to complete the scoping activity for the Auto Log feature.
This ticket completes the UI portion of the Auto Log feature.
This ticket added the date of the Bcc to NetSuite error to the suitelet.
This ticket supports specific NetSuite fields types in creating new records from the add-in.
: This ticket is part of the foundation required to complete the Record Creation feature from within the add-in. Since the feature as a whole is not yet complete, this will remain hidden in the production environment. Because it is hidden from the user, there is no change from the user’s perspective.
: We want to ensure that our users can only create new records from the add-in with Record Types that we are able to support. As part of the Record Creation feature, this ticket ensures that when users are establishing Record Types on the SuperSync Email Record Form, they are only able to select supported record types.
: Previously, regardless of a failed or successful log attempt, text would immediately display notifying the user that their selected email had been logged to the below records. That feature has been deprecated in this ticket as, in the event of a failed log attempt, the message would be contradicting to the actual status of the log. However, if the user navigates away from a successfully logged email and then returns to it, the message will then display.
, & : We’ve added a Settings page to the add-in, accessible via the lower toolbar. Users can navigate here to select their preferred default search behavior (automatic vs. manual). Users can also navigate here to access our support email address by clicking on the 'Contact Us' link.
: This ticket supports the ability to sort results within Matching Types.
& : These tickets outline the default User Profiles and Matching Types that will be deployed to all clients upon setup.
